The Liberty Bell – Independence National Historical Park
On October 8, 2023, Carolyn D. Kersch visited the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania located across from Independence Hall. The Liberty Bell is an iconic symbol of American Independence. Also pictured is a plaque denoting where the first Supreme Court of the United States of American (1791 – 1800) met, along with Carolyn D. Kersch in front of a statue of George Washington.
Career Day
On May 25, 2023, Alisa Geffner participated in Career Day at West Hollow Middle School where she spoke to six graders about becoming a lawyer, and specifically her role as a Matrimonial and Family Law attorney.

On October 26, 2022 Alisa J. Geffner and Carolyn D. Kersch attended the Annual Installation Dinner for the Jewish Lawyers Association of Nassau County where Judge Jeffrey A. Goodstein, Matrimonial Supervising Judge of the Nassau County Supreme Court, was presented with the Paul J. Widlitz award. Later that evening, they also attended the NYSSCPA Suffolk and Nassau Chapter 10th Annual Networking Event at the Crest Hollow Country Club.

She Shed-He Shed: An Introduction to Both Sides of Matrimonial Law
On October 17, 2020, Alisa J. Geffner and Carolyn D. Kersch presented the matrimonial segment for the Nassau County Bar Association’s Bridge the Gap program entitled She Shed-He Shed: An Introduction to Both Sides of Matrimonial Law. While practitioners attended the program in person, it was also live streamed to enable practitioners to view the program from home, given the global COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2017 the Suffolk County Matrimonial Mediation Pilot Program began which provided a free alternative to litigation for matrimonial litigants. Based upon the success of this pilot program, the Suffolk County Matrimonial Mediation Center opened in January, 2020. On January 14, 2020, Alisa J. Geffner and Carolyn D. Kersch attended the dedication ceremony for the Center.

Kersch attended the Billboard Music Awards held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas where the Stoneman Douglas choir took the stage with Shawn Mendez and Khalid to perform their song Youth. These students are from the Florida school where 14 students and 3 teachers were killed in February, 2018 in the tragic mass shooting.
